"In Texas," says Canadian-born Cuban Ted Cruz, "we cook bacon a little differently than most folks." How's that, you're not even wondering, but he's gonna show you anyway.
So now we're going to have people using an M16, something that can fire 60 rounds in a minute, covered in slippery, hot grease. Nope, that won't produce any disasters at all. No siree.
Ted Cruz called it a machine gun when, at least according to people I know who spend far more time thinking about guns than I do, it actually doesn't meet the proper definition.
This will of course have no impact on his chances of getting the nomination, despite how gun nerds are even worse about nitpicking than conventional nerds.
I was a M-60 machine gunner in the Navy, and after 100 rounds you had to switch out the barrel because it would get too hot. We even had a special asbestos glove. I have no doubt it got hot enough to cook bacon on, altho I suspect the Battalion Gunner's Mate would have frowned on the practice.
We were still eating those things, packed-up in 1944, when I was in in '66. I didn't think most of them were bad at all, except for one that was ham or salt pork, or at least a meat product. It was terrible.
And you know what that nice cooked bacon can go on?

You have to wonder if Shakespeare had a vision of the future GOP when he came up with the "protest too much, methinks" line.
Given the salt and grease contained in bacon, that is probably so bad for your gun.
Seems like a very efficient way to make a samich!
Both aluminum (foil) and lead cause brain damage. Why is there no Rafael Cruz birther movement? Oh, right, white.

Speaking of Huckabee, have any of his boys tortured a dog lately?
I thought Republican wives did all the cooking.
hey, teddy boy, it's a lot easier to cook food in the engine of your car. far more efficient.

I missed it and now I feel deprived!
I prefer the bacon-wrapped velveeta, myself.

I sure feel like a liberal pussy. I buy the precooked stuff and just use it as I need it and then reseal the resealable plastic bag.
Er.....
Can the Republicansame hurry up and get to the "stapling their nutsacks together" portion of their Jackass All-American tour?
