He identified his victim online, and selected her based on the relatively low risk of consequences if his crime was discovered, because it is so easy to discredit the victim. She seemed more concerned with debating the victim's credibility than whether sexual violence is sometimes justified depending on the circumstances. That's my takeaway, in any case.
