Those so-called 'Wise Men' should have brought a Smith and Wesson, an AR-15, and a bazooka instead of that frankincense bullshit. What a bunch of cucks.

Burchett isn't the worst member of Congress we have from TN. I kind appreciate the honesty and cynicism of "we're not going to do anything." I mean, they never have.

Government is useless to prevent school shootings but is essential to save those precious zygotes so they can one day grow up to be school shooting victims.

Republicans make me sick.

Can we as a society stop pretending brandishing AR-15s is something a normal, sane family puts on their Christmas cards? These people are nuts.

I went outside and cut up some deadfall today. My mind gets completely occupied by dodging cars and my old-man aches-and-pains. I really recommend something like that to distract from all the rage-making crap happening.

Please take care of yourself.

Not all that much, compared to much is raised domestically. And, yeah, of course non-friendly regimes are gonna look for the weaknesses in another country's system to exploit. That USAnians are stupid enough to not permit firearms restrictions, have a system of governance where the monied class controls everything (and see money as the root of all good), shit yeah they're gonna expoit that.

My office is in contact with federal, state, & local officials, & we stand ready to assist.Every fucking politician says this any time there's a shooting. I'm sure there's nothing better federal, state and local officials can do with their time than tell dozens of members of Congress and their staffers to piss off, of course there's nothing you can do to "assist".

Burchette deserves the most honest Republican award here simply for saying the quiet part out loud that his party will not do a damn thing to stop the blood sacrifices to their Gods.

Because, and no surprise, this is yet another post that deserves the obligatory actual slogan of the Republican party on guns:

BLOOD FOR THE GUN GODS! CASH FOR THE NRA THRONE!!!!"

Given that there are eternal security or "once saved always saved" Christians among the right who believe that simply believing in Jesus means they are saved now and forevermore no matter what they do or don't do, I'd say that they ARE likely naturally adhering to their faith.

Bullets ignore prayers and rip the life out of children. So I hope that Andy Ogles and Burchett have the good grace not to complain if any of their loved ones suffer the fate of the dead in our undying love affair with the dance of death by automatic gunfire. This fatalism about the bullet that has your name on it is going to make undertakers in this country fabulously wealthy - if it hasn't done so already - in the Casino of Death that has become The United States of America.
