Hey, kids, we've reached an important milestone in the evolution of the Texas Pool Cop story: the all-important Notpology: The attorney for former McKinney police officer Eric Casebolt on Wednesday said that "he apologizes to all who were offended" by his actions while responding to a complaint at a pool party in McKinney, Texas.
Casebolt's egregious treatment of Dajerria Becton confirmed for me that putting a person facedown on the ground to make an arrest is a retributive form of humiliation as much as officer safety.
Yeah, I was at least happy that this guy did the right thing in resigning. That's the only way to actually admit you were horribly wrong. But then he released the generic, sterile, dishonest "I'm sorry if anyone was offended". That's damn close to just digging your heels in and defending your actions no matter what, bringing up every red herring you can find.
Time to put the "rogue cop" and "better training" canards to rest. This type of action is exactly what they're trained to do. It's about specifically oppressing people of color and intimidating the rest of us.
That is not exactly true in this situation though. According to the kids, even the ones being roughed up, the other officers on the scene were behaved, helpful and actually de-escalating the situation when TB here did his amazing bit of ...whatever the heck it was he was doing. And he did handcuff that one white girl for talking back to him.I think it was more "dem bitches need to not be talkin back to me" in this instance.
I know. I am sick of the non apology crap to the point where I jump in. (I know you were being flip - but you would be amazed at the number of patriots who think he is awesome for "putting those kids in their place.")
Do you suppose she is holding off on purpose?

The best thing about the video is that his gun didn't go off.
And it's getting more and more absurd...why can't we talk it over?
A Death Threat to Believe In.
If I'm reading the update correctly, it isn't any more.
Hmm...

Or that his wife cut him off and his balls were bluer than his uniform? Everyone can sympathize with that.
Ten years on the force and still a corporal?

So what you're saying is the US is a mixed rage society.
..
He repeatedly failed the 'Barrel Roll' portion of the Sergeant exam.
