She doesn't, the guy running for that Congressional seat is by chance a civil rights attorney if I remember correctly. The candidate was on the phone when the young man was stopped and taken into custody so was able to hear the entire exchange between him and the thugs.

Played in a jug band named the Outside Agitators. It was 1965 and we thought the name silly and ominous at the same time. The band name faded into memory for 50+ years until this year when the sons of the sons of the rednecks of 1965 gave it new life.

Touching Beto cures it though.

And makes you pregnant.

Even if you're a guy.

As someone who carried petitions door-to-door as a young teen (starting at 15) and turned 18 in time to vote against Richard Nixon in 1972, I take voting very, very seriously. I vote in every D primary and every general, every year. Today's the last day to register in NY, and I was practically accosting people at the health food stores to verify that they're registered.

When we were out marching in support of the Parkland students, what was most gratifying to me was that on EVERY corner of the march route were people registering to vote those who would be 18 by November. Did my heart good. Now, it's up to US to remind them to do their civic duty.

Does anybody know if Texas is a one-party consent state when it comes to recordings and taking pictures in public areas? I severely doubt it is, being Texas and all, but if it is then I don’t see where the woman has much of a leg to stand on complaining about having a picture taken to verify that the paperwork was delivered. As someone who’s constantly held responsible for the actions/inactions of others, I can definitely understand the desire to document proof that you did your part.

For those who might be wondering, Igloo Corporation (the makers of beer coolers, not the Arctic architectural firm of the same name) and Goya foods have headquarters in Waller County, Texas. I will be considering such facts when making relevant buying decisions.

"We don't base any arrest decision or investigation decision on any kind of philosophical, party, or ideological, even spiritual or religious affiliation," Zamora said. "That's not what we do."Glad they specified spiritual or religious affiliation, otherwise it might look like they restrained Mr Aronowitz because he's a JOOOO

Waller County Sheriff Captain Manny Zamora explained the poor clerk was "disturbed" by the photo-taking, and Aronowitz was one scary dude

Did you see the pic of that guy from Rachel's interview? He "scared" the clerk? I imagine if you look up the word "nebbish" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Aronowitz there.

Well, the Texas Ren Fest is on at the moment and not too far north, so that might be doable.
