I'm sure they're going to take pics of license plates in abortion clinic parking lots and use that to find the names of everyone involved, also to sue uber drivers for aiding and abetting to make it so nobody can even get a ride to a clinic...
I think the very most dangerous thing about this law is that it grants legal standing to bring suit, to people who have no claim to any personal harm suffered. ALL of legal precedent up til now had been that in order to sue someone, you have to have a credible claim that their actions have harmed you in some way. This will open the door to all kinds of craziness.
I mean the solution is to start repeatedly and mercilessly suing Texas right-wing politicians claiming they had our paid for abortions, right? Just over and over and over again, ten or twenty suits at a time.
I think I'll report Heidi Cruz, Barbara Bush the younger, and Audrey Abbott for having abortions. I'm sure I can find more GOP women to report, also too.
So does that mean I can sue those fake abortion advice clinics? Because it would be a shame if all those fake abortion help lines suddenly found themselves in court 24/7 by people who don't have to pay legal fees even if they lose.
