She brought them into this world! It's her right to take them out. That's what my mom liked to tell me.

Yes,I really liked the tidbit where she went back in the house, reloaded and then finished the argument.Sure makes me look like a pansy when it comes to dealing with our boys. I just give them a hug and walk away. They are in their 20's and putting them into a nice warm bath doesn't go over too well anymore.

So I'm looking at the numbers of reported incidents where a GOOD GUY WITH A GUN heroically did a thing to a BAD GUY and it's... Okay, the number of incidents where a GOOD GUY WITH A GUN actually responded to a crime is greater than zero, it's not nearly enough when balanced against the many lives lost to "legal gun owners". Many of these incidents, by the way, involve gun owners on both sides of the incident. There's a category for "Gun Taken from Criminal and Used Against Him".

'Good guy with gun' pretty frequently manages to stop property crimes where the perpetrator never intended to attack anybody to begin with. The number of good guys with guys that heroically stop bad guys with guns is in fact pretty close to 0.

So much for the myth of a good guy, or gal, with a gun. You may be 'good' at time of purchase, but hey, shit happens. What a piece of human garbage. Had there been no weapon, she may have just told the kids to piss off for a while. Could one of my American neighbors please explain why people are willing to sacrifice other parts of the Constitution, but the right to bear arms is untouchable? The selfsame folks don't give a damn about much else. but somehow, the rights of ammosexuals must be protected above all else.

Katy, Texas has an estimated population of 15,000 people, a good median income and a reputation of being a nice place to live. What the hell had her so afraid she needed 10 guns??You'd think they lived in Somalia! This just goes back to that point that maybe this desire to own a lot of weapons IS indicative of some greater psychological problem. Paranoia? Inferiority complex? What are you afraid of in this cute little town?

I have owned a few guns for nearly 50 years, and I have no idea what goes on in what passes for brains in these people. Clearly they are manipulated by fear -- fear of criminals, fear of the "other" and of course the fear of the tyrannical federal government. But to explain why I don't live in fear of any of those things, and they DO ... can't tell you. I'm at a loss.

It's "too" not "to". Nice to get attitude from a guy trying to be cute with insults who makes yet another grammatical error. Dumbass
