By expressly working to limit access to health <i>insurance</i> -- the reform was to healh insurance, not health care itself -- the Texas legislature would force people to choose between treatment and money. As noble as that sounds, many uninsured forego treatment. And they die younger than the insured. In Palin's formulation, that would make the Texas legislature a <strong>Death Panel</strong>.

Here's this idiot trying to bring up a argument that was settled with at least 620,000 human lives.

I was a nine-year old boy in 1960. My Great Aunt (and she was a great aunt!) told me "Study the Civil War - but don't celebrate it." Words of wisdom back then - and still just as true today. You betcha!

This man's creativity is inspiring. I plan on instituting a policy in my office that forbids state or federal law enforcement personnel from taking any action against staff (i.e., myself). I think that's ironclad.
