it's because of voter suppression. telling people to vote doesn't get the job of helping them past the barriers to voting done.

Beto's campaign has a good GOTV operation to address it. MOVE Texas and JOLT Texas are excellent at helping young (especially BIPOC) Texans navigate the barriers as well.

41% of generators are natural gas and getting the suppliers to honot their contracts with those generators is an issue that pre-dates the Ukraine War. we've got more than enoughbto the stuff already in storage to cover both if RRC decides to fo its job.

good news: solar is bailing us out just like wind did last winter.

Same here. It's been a good 20 years that I've heard that, and those predictions are based on Hispanics turning towards the Democrats, and I see no indication that's happening.

I've been to Houston in August and never again. I grew up in Phoenix so I'm used to the heat but the humidity is downright brutal.
