Casebolt's attorney saying he was glad the system worked in his favor is a revealing admission the system is not designed to hold everyone equally accountable.

Ive also NEVER understood why we waste time to have the DA who works with the very department of officers being investigated magically believing the system is not biased against Citizens.

Ever notice how long it takes for these "investigations" to conclude? It took them six months to investigate the events of a few minutes on video but it took the media and some in the public to falsely accuse Mateen of Islamic terrorism before the blood of his victims turned cold.

oooh what a big brave cop, what a fucking hero, taking down all 95 pounds of scared teenage girl in a bikini.... probably the first boner that punk has popped in weeks... she is so lucky there were witnesses around, so she got off with a totally unjustifiable beatdown instead of rape, with maybe murder to shut her mouth...Land of the Free, Home of the Brave

See how easy the conversation was changed by the sharing of our fears and tribulations. No one sought to ask if he were a cop, black or white, Muslim, Christian. It didn't matter. Changed the mood and projectory of this thread. Just take a moment to absorb what happened here. Ask yourself why.

This girl in question will probably win the civil suit. This always leads my to ask myself a couple of questions whenever these cases pop up:1. Aren't state and local municipalities getting tired of paying all these civil judgements?2. Why aren't conservatives upset with these reckless cops who cost the tax payers millions?3. The antigovernment never side with citizens roughed up by cops; isn't this their raison d'Γͺtre? Or do they not regard policemen as government employees?4. Why is it that a frightening number of white people and their friends in the media immediately rush to vilify a black person bring beaten up or killed by a white cop? I get that a lot of that is defensive anger; better to say the black person somehow "deserved" it than to entertain the idea that these cops did it because they're racists (despite a history of black people beaten beaten the fuck up by white people for doing things like sitting at lunch counters) 5. Do they ever test these cops for drugs/alcohol after these incidents? Ol' boy did a BODYROLL at a pool party full of teenagers. None of his superiors found that shit a little off? That last point is important. Drug and alcohol tests should be mandatory. Especially when you have to rely on cop testimony as to why they behaved how they behaved in a situation. How much is adrenaline and how much is cocaine and Jim Beam?

It should have happened to white middle class people that day. The ones who started the fight and all of the racist filth were scumbag bigot whites.

Just make sure that you're white and the person you do something appalling to isn't.
