GA resident here, & there's no enthusiasm for Herschel Walker's campaign that I can see. In fact, there appears to be no campaign at all. He didn't show up for the state GOP convention, & appears to be in no hurry to relocate from Texas.

On point #2--white wife---I'm in Athens and what we heard was that his dating a white girl brought him death threats and that's one reason he quit college early and left.That, and all the opposing teams had a "cripple Herschel" strategy and there was a good chance any pro career was about to get derailed by injury. Anyway, white football nuts in Georgia never forgave him for turning pro and depriving them of what they thought would be another glorious UGA football year.
Would I vote for Joe Montana if he were to run to replace Lady DiFi...? At least he actually lives in San Franciso and did not take that many shots to the head during his playing days.
