The real question is - why do they have an ATM in their living room?So instead of a chicken in every pot, are we getting an ATM in every house?

I think that people who criticise the show these days, first of all have never seen it, but also have to realise that they all were very anti-Nazi, and "Klemperer, conscious that he would be playing the role of a German officer during the Nazi regime, accepted the part only on the condition that Klink would be portrayed as a fool who never succeeded". I imagine the others felt the same way. That it what made the show work.

The other day, while walking down a block, I saw an hybrid car that was plugged into an outlet. In the very next driveway, I sat two cats next to a car, and I was not sure where the tail on one was going*. So are we already getting to cat-car hybrids?

*I assume the other was the spare...

It's as if Americans still had fires that they sat down beside, and here was the President showing up to chat with them at their fireside, or something like that.

Hell, even my 25-hour a week job makes a second job (and parenting) pretty difficult, but I’m more irked by the habit of placing *any* modifier between “no one” and “should live in poverty.” No one should live in poverty. Not no one “who works x amount” or “who has a college degree/high school diploma/etc.” or “who” ANYTHING. Humans do not deserve to live in poverty if we have the means to do anything about it, and in the US we definitely do.

Every fucking thing I wrote was completely accurate. You have to lie to support your argument.

Every single fucking thing:gun control: 1994 ban on assaults weapons

EITC: 24B expansion lifted 4.3 out of poverty, double the number two years before (the idea was direct cash for all poor people rather than more targeted SSI and AFDC)

family leave: Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 first family leave in US

higher taxes- raised the top two income tax rates to 36% and 39.6%, with the top rate hitting joint returns with incomes above $250,000- removed the Medicare cap- raised the corporate tax rate to 35% from 34%- raised the Social Security cap

budget:https://www.thoughtco.com/h...The surplus for four years are under Clinton's higher taxes on the wealthy and corporations. It plunges again after W's tax cuts.

I can not make you stop licking republican asses, eating their crap about the Clintons, and then puking it all over. But I can certainly note that it is in no way honest nor progressive.

Glass-Steagall was bad policy. It exists. So do all these other policies.

I'm having trouble with your comment. Making fun of speech impediments went out of fashion when I was in grade school. Take your mean-spirited vitriol to another website. You could move to Yo-Semite or Ore-eeh-GON.

Also we need to stop subsidizing oil companies (and all other large corporations). I'd say we should combine that bill with an increase of the estate tax to 100% on wealth over $5000,000, and call it the "No Free Handouts for Moochers Act."
