There's the problem. If we just treated the people on the right with respect, why, they'd come flocking to our side because they can easily see that we've got their best interests at heart.

No matter how bad they were at the job or how much they have screwed up things since that job.

Farrier said to me the other day, " I don't like Trump (sure) but why are they spending all this time going at him with everything going on in the Middle East?!?"

I said, "We as a country are capable of doing more than one thing at a time. Also, what's the DA in NY supposed to do about the Middle East?"

I suppose it's not relevant to their other failings, but such a lot of these aged right wing jokers have flesh that resembles spoiled bread dough.

"...[Trump] frequently gets himself into trouble with these midnight tweets and other things."

He's never been in trouble a day in his life until now. Partly because of enablers like Barr.

I mean, the president is notoriously -- lacks self-control and he frequently gets himself into trouble with these midnight tweets and other things.

But when Barr is asked if he’d vote for Trump again, he says, “yes, sure. Because socialism.”

That’s what is boggling my mind. What the hell has the judge’s family done, in a public way?

This may be an irrelevant distinction, but Barr referred to Trump as 'the president'. He's not 'the president'. That is Biden.

For me, that's different than the tradition of continuing to refer to him as President Trump.

Based on your comment, I think you found the wrong post. I mean your comment is an outrageous chyron and a constipated/confused Tucker Carlson face away from being ready for Tulsi Gabbard.

But if all it takes is a very light joke at religion to vote “fascist-adjecent”, I have news for you: They were always gonna vote fascist (adjacent). Finding a scapegoat or excuse wasn’t gonna change that, but it does allow a fig leaf for being terrible. I prefer not to give “fig leaves” and I believe people are who they are when the say/show who they are. Your screed above told me everything I need to know about ya.

I like the interviews where they ask MAGAts at Trump events who's president now. And they say Trump. Who's in charge of the country? Trump? Who's controlling the military? Trump. So high gas prices ... Trump's fault? No. What about the Afghanistan withdrawal? No, not on Trump. But he's totally running the country and military.

My brother is the same way. Started listening to Rush Limbaugh many, many years ago while he was at work doing construction. Slowly became more and more right wing. Since trump he’s a full out delusional follower that rants on Facebook, texts family at 2am about how stupid we are that we voted for Biden when he’s stupid drunk and his favorite thing to do is waste all his time sitting in his basement ranting bullshit. Miserable life.
