I did, too. And I am Grandma to NO ONE. I used to teach secretaries how to move from typewriters to PCs. I had my own process for teaching them word processing, and all learned. (My secret was I just typed garbage all over the screen, but put it into sentences and paragraphs. Secretaries read EVERYTHING, and were much better at manipulating text when it was total nonsense.)
