"TAPPER: With all due respect, Secretary, […] That's not what happened. We all saw what happened.

NOEM: It absolutely is what happened."

Bitch sounds like my four-year-old nephew with chocolate all over his face telling me that he didn't eat the cupcakes.

She's either too damn dumb to bother cooking up a convincing line of bullshit, or doesn't even care enough to do that, or both.

"Good “weaponized” her car by trying to drive away"

`

When my girl cousin had only had her drivers' license for a month or so, she got in a fender bender at the local shopping mall. Her explanation was that the other guy, "Hit the front of my car with the side of his car". My uncle pondered that for a moment, then said, "Was his car going sideways?"

Oh great. Dipshit Hegseth used a military plane disguised as a civilian plane to get the drop on one of the Venezuelan boats they bombed.

This is against the law. Why you ask? Well besides being devious it’s also stupid because now they will target ACTUAL civilian planes.

Idiots are going to get people killed.

I’m actually impressed that Krusti Gnome could smirk through all that Botox. Most of the time, she seems barely able to move her lips.

More on Donald & Venezuela – if you suspected it had something to do with corruption (because when it comes to Donald, everything does) but didn’t know what – NOW you have more information

“Paul Singer poured tens of millions into the 2024 election cycle and now his hedge fund is buying Venezuelan oil refineries after Trump bombed and effectively took over the country. If you didn't know Trump's actions in Venezuela were rooted in corruption, now you do.”

War for Oil: How Billionaire Political Donors Stand to Make a Huge Profit from Venezuela

The CEO whose hedge fund is in the process of buying Venezuelan oil refineries gave Republican causes $41.25 million dollars during the 2024 election cycle.

Trump follows the fascist playbook. He established the model for his underlings who try to win favor with their lies and perverse behavior. Like Musk’s Nazi salute. Like Bondi’s criminal investigation of Powell. Like Hegseth planned court martial of Kelly. And like Noem making lying about what happened in Minneapolis. They all desperately seek approval of the dictator who otherwise might banish them. And telling the truth means his displeasure and the onslaught of threats from the MAGA goons.

straight out of the abusers playbook - whine that the people you are hurting aren't being polite enough or that they are being divisive when they reject you and your violence - somethings gotta give soon or y'all are done

At t his point, the admin should be getting hit continuously with the question why ICE agents should have jurisdiction or authority to detain a citizen at all. They demanded that local police remove protesters. They can delegate crowd control and security to the same authorities. And if there is someone who says they are a citizen but an ICE agent thinks they are not, that person can be handed over to the locals on something like a forgery charge until their documentation can be reviewed.

another reminder that ICE ARE NOT LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS

They are CIVIL SERVANTS who have been GIVEN GUNS

Another relevant observation I have seen from a Youtuber with a military background is that most of the work of deportation is administrative, which is an obvious explanation why Drumpf can't manage to deport more people than Democratic presidents.

and who also refuse to ask necessary questions (which is their Constitutionally-protected job)

Donald Trump is sending masked thugs to shoot his political opponents down in the streets.

That is what the Democrats and everyone else need to be shouting, at every opportunity. Call the murderers murderers. There is no unity to be had with people who are willing to shoot you in the face.

I don't know if this has been brought up already, but at a recent (yesterday?) Noem's podium had the slogan "One of Us. All of you."

The rumor, at least, is that this is a translation from the German dating to an incident in occupied Czechoslovakia in which a German was killed by the resistance, and the Germans proceeded to slaughter *everyone in the town*. It means "if you kill one of us, we'll kill all of you."

But that is much more apt.

"footage has continued to come out contradicting the Trump regime’s lies about what happened that day"

There is one question that many are asking that sheds clarity on Ms Good's murder: if the confrontation was as dangerous as the ICEholes insist, why was the family dog in the back seat calm and apparently relaxed?

> "The latest video begins by showing the officer's view as he gets out of a vehicle and approaches the passenger side of Good’s burgundy Honda Pilot. A black dog can be seen in the back seat, its head out of the open window." https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/ice-agent-shooting-video-minnesota-renee-good-9.7040480

Note the report doesn't say the dog was barking, growling, or baring its teeth, just sitting with her/his head out the window.

-----

"We begin with former South Dakota governor, noted puppy murderer"

The dog was also injured in the unjustified shooting. Had the dog died, I can hear DHS' Birkenau Barbie claiming the dog was vicious and trying to bite Ross, who was feeling even more threatened than by the possibility that Ms Good intended to run him over.

-----

"JD Vance whined like a petulant child that people didn’t believe their gaslighting, but were choosing instead to believe their own lying eyes."

More 1984 "Reality Control" by the DHS apologists and assholes... like the Hillbilly.

> "In “1984,” the totalitarian government, known as “the Party,” manipulates and controls every aspect of its citizens’ lives, including their thoughts and perceptions. The Party’s ultimate goal is to make people believe their version of reality, even if it contradicts what they can see and hear with their own senses." https://edlatimore.com/1984-quotes-and-ideas

-----

"Homan: "We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It's just ridiculous. It's gonna infuriate people more which means there's gonna be more incidents like this.""

* Pot, meet kettle.

* Mr Homan, maybe these "incidents" would cease if you and the rest of your fellow travelers didn't instigate them in the first place.

* As is typical in this regime, truth takes a back seat to propaganda, spin, and bovine scat; very few, if any, of them have even a passing acquaintance with the truth:

> "Truth is incontrovertible. Panic may resent it. Ignorance may deride it. Malice may distort it. But there it is." Winston Churchill

What is not being talked about and is inseparable from ICE attacks on vehicles and their passengers, is that these are violent attacks on U.S. citizens who monitor & video ICE’s violent behavior. This is standard operational policy , approved at the highest DOH levels , to stop people monitoring & recording ICE violations. That is why Ross murdered Renee Good.
