The implicit bias is baked into the decision-making process. It’s the same reason why AI-driven facial recognition software picks up and misidentifies BIPOC as felons. It’s the same reason why the FBI is so slow to catch all the domestic terrorists. Too many White people making decisions, and not enough BIPOC.It doesn’t work.
