And it has begun. We are losing an English teacher. A reading teacher, at that.
And they asked me to teach reading. No. I refuse to teach. It's not the kids. It's not the subject. I'd love to teach reading. It's the nine layers of bullshit you have to go through in order to teach. Not gonna do it. Not for what they'd pay me. Fuck that noise.
It makes me sad, because I know who they'll get to teach it and she's a disgrace. Those poor kids just get ripped off every year because we scrape the bottom of the barrel to get teachers, and it shows.
