Wasn't that Roberts idiot forced to release an apology, after they realized how many Jews were members of the Heritage Foundation?

I don't agree that Trump invented Fuentes; such cockroaches have always been found in the walls. But Trump is the reason people know this fool's name.

I keep thinking the reichwing and TFG are their own best advertisement for why voting for Rs from the top of the ticket on down is like repeatedly punching yourself in the face while screaming...about how much you enjoy it. Yes, the DNC and various Dem candidates can - and absolutely should -bblanket the country with ads about why Rs are all pure poison as there is too-rich a well of examples to draw from, at this point - but the RWNJs and TFG just walking around being themselves all loud and proud is doing the leftwing, Democrats and progressives favors the ad people could only ever dream of. Continue shooting yourselves in both feet, Rs, I salute your willingness to go down with the wrong ship. They are *proving* with every word, deed, action and inaction why the country needs to come back home, and why "home" is with the left.

I am desperately sick of America's right wing and the creepy crawly monsters it harbors. I know, I know, folks like Fuentes and Cruz and Carlson are always with us. That type of human trash is almost immortal.

But wouldn't it be nice if we could gene-edit that type out of human DNA or failing that, modify the genome so that types like Fuentes or Carlson at a certain age would suddenly develop an unstoppable urge do great things: like disappear from the face of the earth.

Sure, it would be difficult for that pair to look anything but ignorant and fatuous - but I'd have thought they would try to avoid facial expressions that make them look MORE ignorant and fatuous.

Throughout history, Muslims have had a “No Muslims are enemies” approach to criticism of terrorists. So, while few Muslims engage in terrorism, few Muslims criticize Muslims who commit acts of terrorism.

That statement isn’t accurate. Across the Muslim world, there have been countless public condemnations of terrorism by Muslim leaders, scholars, and ordinary believers. Let's not fall prey to statements that aren't supported by evidence?

I have a No Nazis pin prominently displayed on the collar of my winter jacket. When my sibling saw it, they told me I should think about taking it off to prevent getting into any confrontations. I thought about it, but it seems to me that if anyone wants to argue with me about No Nazis, I should probably argue with them.

I have my 40 year union pin and a blue D Democratic party pin on mine. I get some snotty looks but they don't have the stones to say shit. I have Dem T Shirts that they sneer at, but I tell them they are made in USA and printed in a union print shop. Ask them where their MAGA trash swag is made.

“Donald Trump is the reason Nick Fuentes exists…”

TBF, Fuentes existed before Grampa Assmouth. As did Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk and pretty much every loathsome person you can name. Before Assmouth they were peripheral figures, generally ignored or reviled. What GA did was throw that Overton Window open WIDE, allowing those shitstains to speak in public without fear of approbation. And not incidentally enabling Common Man Salt-of-the-Earth ‘Murrican to listen and nod along with the things he always believed but never thought he could say out loud.

Note I KNOW some of these fuckers were teenagers when Grampa Assmouth rode down his golden elevator, but they are only representative of the type of living-in-their-mom’s-basement, hating-everyone-because-everyone-hates-them losers who have always existed and generally been seen to be the pathetic toddlers who they are.

You said it perfectly. The Right’s “fight” over Fuentes isn’t moral conflict, it’s theater. They’re not debating whether hate is wrong, they’re just mad the microphones caught it.

Fuentes didn’t crash the party, he was invited. Trump opened the door, Carlson poured the drinks, and now the GOP is shocked the guests are goose-stepping through the living room.

"If a person who believes the moon is made of rock and metal holds a debate with someone who believes the moon is made of cheese, the only real winner, regardless of the actual outcome, is the person who believes the moon is made of cheese — because there absolutely will be people who had never before considered that possibility wondering if perhaps they are right. This is why Republicans are obsessed with “debate.”"

Thanks. I had never thought of it this way before.

“‘Oh, I’m so mad that you called me a Nazi that I’m gonna go out and be a Nazi!’ does not make sense.”

It does when you automatically mistrust everything the accuser says. “Oh, this godless, race-mixing, sexual degenerate commie thinks anyone defending traditional values-MY VALUES-is a Nazi? Well, maybe these so-called Nazis have a point after all!”
