Other than getting drunk and fighting a lot, I don't think the Palins have much in common with Vikings.

In that picture she looks like she's about to spit out a hair. Some kind of hair.

Here in Hartford, there is a statue called <a href="http:\/\/ctmonuments.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/P1210563.jpg" target="_blank">"Spirit of Victory"</a> in the park. It's a Viking-ish looking woman with a torch, a shield, wings, a metal bra (featuring extra pointy nipples for eye-poking-out, I assume) and a sword. And she's standing in the prow of a ship. Despite what she thinks of herself, the statue does not resemble Sarah Palin™ in any respect except possibly standing on a boat. .

Hey, someone's gotta pay for her fur scarves.

Only 22 minutes this month? That news is better than kitten videos.

<i>It’s a strategy whose brilliance is matched only by its craven cynicism. We are frankly embarrassed we didn’t think of the idea first.</i>

Forget it, kid, the Fartknocker channel already has too much content to reproduce Sarah Lou's brilliant grift.

Obligatory "Sarah who?" comment.

It seems to me that Bristol has made a career out of her pregnancy.

I thought that they went out of fashion in about 1910.

In Canada, CBC has a show called 'This Hour has 22 Minutes', on the Palin channel 'This Month has 22 Minutes".

I am a Liberal and while I fully support a women's right to choose from a public policy standpoint, in my own personal beliefs I feel that even early term abortion is wrong. Every life should be given a chance. I do, however, support late term abortions stretching into the 60th-120th trimesters. By that time you've gotten a chance to know the little son-of-bitch.

Many of you, I'm sure, have teenagers and some of you probably don't like them very much. Wouldn't be great to at least have the threat of saying, "You know Carl, Mom and I have been talking and we think that maybe this isn't working out ...". I bet the next time he borrows the car, he's a little more careful. Just think about the time your 17 year old daughter brought home that libertarian-anarchist with the swastika tatoos and then tell me I'm wrong. Tell me, wouldn't the world be a better place if a disappointed Mrs. Cheney had gotten the chance to take a good look at her young Dick and thought, "...eh, ooh, you know, maybe not."

I think I may be on to an abortion policy we can all get behind.

Once we can get her down to 22 minutes a year, even Fox may accept that she has finally shut the Hell up.

Eternal vigilence is the price of something or other.

Back in the 80's I briefly worked at a women's clothing store in a big hotel in Toronto that sold them. When there was some international economic conference held in the city, I sold one to some rich Brazilian couple for their 17 yr old daughter. Why I still remember this fact 30 years later I do not know.
