When the Grifter Queen of The Last Frontier announced the creation of her own website/TV channel , we laughed along with the rest of you. "It's just a way to make a quick buck, and she'll probably quit halfway through, haw haw haw," we larfed to ourselves. But it's been a week, and she hasn't quit yet, and one Wonketeer donated enough money -- real American dollars -- for a year's subscription and a bonus Ulysses S. Grant to dull the pain of whichever sap got stuck watching, for you.
I think the "suing the widow" is part of it, the reflexive paranoia of the gun humpers is part (at some level they've got to recognize the stupidity of taking a severely depressed PTSD sufferer to a gun range) and in large part I think they just hate Ventura because he humiliated Hannity on TeeVee
regarding the Chris Kyle-Jesse Ventura kerfuffle: apparently this has become a big fucking deal in the wingnutosphere. I've seen several seriously passionate squawks and whines on my FB feed from the RWNJs, all of them team Kyle. Given that celebs sue for slander and/or libel all the time, I'm not sure why this registers so strongly on the repug richter scale I get that it involves the Seals, so it sets off the rah! rah! reflex of the support the troops crowd. But ventura served too, though not in combat, and he can't brag about how many brown skinned people he's killed. Many of these clowns are crying about Jesse suing Kyle's family, but that isn't even true- it's just that Kyle foolishly brought a whack job to a shooting range and got himself killed before the trial started. I guess it's just another data point for how brainwashed the RWNjs are, that they can be so riled up over nothing this way...
OT, but Ross Douchehat's weekly whine was a real head-desk job this Sunday. I look forward to seeing it run through the Wonk-O-Matic (It slices! It dices!)
Off Topic: Why can't I navigate to anything on the homepage that was posted earlier than July 31? Where did the "click here for moar awesomeness" button go?

"Where's the Toledo Strip?"
It will cost you five bucks to find out.
And then there was the Toledo "War" of 1835-36 when Ohio got Toledo and Michigan got the UP.
Please predecease, Governor.
Oops, another goof. It was supposed to be Macho Pikachu.
Pearl Forrester LIBEL!!!!

blah blah ... allow us as individuals to exercise our own God-given rights ... blah blah ...
You also need to exercise your own God-given ass, you moron.
"Glenn Beck admits" is the newsy-flashy part. I always figured he was too stupid to recognize stupid.

That's a pretty special photo of Ms. Palin, but isn't it uncool to make fun of people with Downs Syndrome?
It is just like that car wreck on the side of the freeway...
You don't want to see it, but when you get close, you still slow down and look...
Yeah, that was also the best I could come up with in the obligatory sixty seconds. Maybe I should have started with Peru.
oops...
always use a library computer or at least Starbucks WiFi
