I don't know what "pointy-headed" means, but I assume it's anti-Semitic.

It's anti-Zippy, which makes it bad regardless.

I wish. Global catastrophes like climate change will only kill off the 99%. The ones with munny (i.e., the policy-makers) will still be chowing on Dandy Boy apples in their underground vaults while rewriting textbooks to say we shoulda had more good guys with global warming.

That's a relief. As a liberal with a few horns and ridges, I'm slightly sensitive about that.

The Mayans and the Easter Islanders had different experiences. Without the 99% to actually do the work, the 1% starve.

A dog whistle for "cosmopolitan" which is in turn a dog whistle for "hook-nosed?"

You know, I had this discussion with my sister (who made it into a good school). I was ranting (frothing at the mouth, verily) about some of the shit being taught, and she said, "I learned stuff wrong in high school, and still got in." So maybe, some instances of intelligence will persist.

There are plenty of deeply stupid college grads around, as there are many smart, engaged people with little education. The culture of "let's be as stupid and nasty as possible" seems to be very welcoming to idiots of all "education" levels.

The cancer quack should go into business with the NYC dentist who was arrested on meth and child porn charges: http://www.nytimes.com/2015...

He's STILL got 2.5 stars on his Yelp reviews. My favorite: "Pedophile, deviant and sadist. No different from any other Manhattan dentist."

As much as I like to believe ill about Republicans, it seems to just be a variation on egghead, which was coined for Adlai Stevenson who, I believe, was not a Jewish.

We don't have to give it back. We just need to change the borders for the Self-Trumpeter's "bigger, blacker big, beautiful wall."

There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." - Isaac Azimov
