The Stupidest Man On The Internet Found Some Mexicans And You'll Never Guess What Happened Next

Thanks to the internet, anyone can be a journalist -- this is one of the great things about the web, and so it was Big News when a plucky Citizen Journalist caught this video of the Feds busing in a bunch of illegal immigrants to a Walmart in Concord, North Carolina, where they then went on a shopping spree on the taxpayer's dime, using EBT cards to "shop for everything from food to pillows and blankets." Not a one of 'em spoke English, so it's pretty damned obvious they were illegal. Jim Hoft, the Stupidest Man on the Internet, reposted the storyverbatim from something called "Mad World News" (which we obviously need to start following), with the scary headline "SHOCK VIDEO>>> Illegals Arrive in Bus and Shop at Walmart With EBT Cards." It's just unbelievable what Obama thinks he can get away with!

Sylvia Locklear was on her lunch break Sunday afternoon around 1: 30 p.m. when she noticed something strange happening in the parking lot of Walmart in Concord, NC – there was busloads of what appeared to be adult illegal immigrants being dropped off to shop for everything from food to pillows and blankets. Angered by her discovery, Sylvia decided she was going to investigate a little further, and what she found should outrage every American citizen.

In the video above, Sylvia can be heard talking to another person who presumably was curious about what was going on, so she explained to them that prior to taking the video she had tried to talk to the people on the bus. Not only could they barely speak English, but one of them had said they had just arrived in America.

We all know that this has been happening, however, the sheriff of her town had said that they weren’t allowing any illegals to be shipped in, so it would appear as if the Obama regime is once again placing undue burdens on the states and not even letting them know what’s going on. What’s worse is that in the comments under the video she posted to Facebook, Sylvia said that when she was in line behind them that they were using government-issued EBT cards to pay for their purchases.

Except of course it's all bullshit. As CBS reports, the people are actually legal farmworkers on H2A temporary work visas, employed by Patterson Farms in China Grove NC:

"The film that is on the Internet is our actual workers, we take them to the store every Sunday to get their supplies for the week," Doug Patterson told WBTV. "These are hardworking legal workers from Patterson Farm."

Oh, and those "EBT cards" are actually prepaid cash cards that the workers put their own wages on. But they are plastic cards, and they do go into the same machine. Wonder if the workers bought any crab legs? 

So you've got to admire the honesty and ethics of Jim Hoft, the Stupidest Man on the Internet. When the reality of the story came out, he immediately updated the story with this note:

UPDATE: Apparently this story is not quite accurate.

No link, no corrected information, no nothing. Just that, and an updated headline that lets the reader decide whatever reality they prefer: "Update: Not True??"

Wow. So truthy.
