Well all right then. The government shutdown happened. While some Republicans were calling this "dance" something to "compromise" and "negotiate" into giving them exactly everything they ever wanted ever, and Democrats were "refusing to be extorted,"
Since the wingnuts are claim they want to negotiate, here are a few items Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should put on the table:
1. Agree to repeal Obamacare AND REPLACE WITH THE SINGLE PAYER OPTION 2. Repeal all the Bush tax cuts 3. Mandatory background checks for all gunowners, limits on ammo purchases, etc. 4. A new Stimulus Package for infrastructure 5. (I'll think of more later...)
Hey -- these a$$holes want to 'negotiate', let's negotiate. Fkrs.
Boehner has the power to bring a "clean CR" to the Hosue floor for a vote, where it will pass easily. So what the fuck is the weepy orange sack-o'-crap afraid of?
My schaden will go blind if it keeps freuding itself like this:
<a href="http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/news\/fiscal-crisis\/2013\/10\/01\/with-grand-canyon-closed-cancellations-pour-in-for-arizona\/" target="_blank">With Grand Canyon Closed, Cancellations Pour In for Arizona</a> &quot;Tourists spend on average $2.7 million a day at the national parks in Arizona each October, almost half of it at the Grand Canyon, according to an analysis of Park Service statistics by the National Parks Conservation Association.&quot;
NY Daily News FTW. I&#039;ve been staring at those hands, wondering if that is blood or turds or some nice mixture of the two.
If the Daily Snooze thinks it&#039;s safe to slam Boehner, that&#039;s my signal not to worry about the blame-o-rama. Great white working class is not buying it.
No, it&#039;s <em>just</em> like that.

Shut down the Capitol parking garage - make the fuckers walk. I bet most DC taxi drivers would be delighted to avoid the area.
Well, it <i>could</i> have been a bored-out 400. Or a photographer who didn&#039;t really give a hoot.

Let&#039;s shut down all the stateside military bases, all non-combat personnel worldwide, and all depots and ancillary installations. By my calculation, South Carolina, Virginia, anf most of southern California would starve to death inside a week. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wik..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_State...">http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
