An insulating sleeve that slides over a can or small bottle of beer. It keeps the beer colder (because it's not picking up heat from your hand) and stops your hand getting cold and wet from the can.
In Australia we call them stubby holders (a stubby being a small bottle of beer).
The best ones are a simple tube of neoprene, because they can be slipped onto one's wrist and worn like a cuff when not in use. This means you don't lose it as you're wandering around a large party or your neighbour's BBQ.
Smart people order a simple tube. Less smart people order a tube with a bottom glued in, which will be punched out the first time the user wants to cuff it. Bushes order this mess, that requires a pair of scissors to make it a tube. Ain't nobody got time for that.
At least he didn't go for the VASTLY inferior foam and plastic model. No one likes those.
Susan Wright--widow of Ron Wright and Trump backed candidate to be his successor--just lost the run-off for the seat to a freshman state house member. it is being seen more as an indictment of Allen West because he was steering the field on her campaign, but it's not great for EX Preznit Diaper Shits.
plus: in addition to the things Liz mentioned, Paxton is being investigated by the FBI for other things and the state bar is considering suspending or revoking his license. you may not have to be in good standing with SBOT to be a judge in Texas (well, not in the bittle counties because, seriously, beggars cannot be choosers), but you do have to if you want to be AG--and that's in the state constitution. so P Bush may not be on the outs....EXCEPT!
except Eva Guzman who is not a trash monster stepped down from her seat on SCOT to run. she may have raised the least amount among the candidates, but she raised more from Texas donors than the other two did. suck on that, boys. and being the only Latina appointed by Good Hair back in the days where he cared about diversity as a means of keeping his party valid to KEEP HER SEAT (all the others lost to white dudes in the primary and it was ridiculously sexist and racist... not like they were saying bad things about the Latina judges, more like they were saying bad things about how craven they themselves were a la, "yeah, I don't disagree with her judicial temperament, I just knew that I could beat her because I'm a white man.") kinda puts her in a decent position. it's still a long shot--especially with the majority of people who want her to win that primary not actually being Republican Primary voters so far as I know.
