The REAL question of the hour is, does Sean Fain KNOW his fame on Wonkette? Did they present him with a certificate, or a trophy?!? There should have been a trophy!!!
I decided this year to take the plunge and try running for a higher level office in my union. I've held local, district, and regional level offices and been active on the national scale but never tried running for one of the top spots. Later this year I'll find out how it plays out.
I once speculated that a "real left" would nominate Fain for a presidential nomination. Seems to me working your way up in labor politics is as good a background for higher office than any other form of politics. Besides, Fain being a worker, and we're told an evangelical Christian, and under 60, he's be well positioned to bring in a lot of those who otherwise vote for a more conservative "traditional values" type candidate.
Wow - I just realized I’m an unofficially retired member of the UAW - for two weeks in 1973 - I wuz working in a heavy steel manufacturing plant - Ford came in with an emergency order - leased the plant - all the workers joined the union and for two weeks we added the union label - have no idea what we were making - they had their own molds - we made more money per hour for the two weeks - yay - and then they were gone - and in a few more weeks I was back at college delivering pizza -
I have been on stage with a lot of famous people but the one I was totally speechlessly star struck by was when Gloria Steinem came up to me to ask where the nearest coffee place was (we were in Carnegie Hall). The girl next to me had to tell her because I couldn’t speak.
My 11-year-old wants a “Trump is a scab” t-shirt.
I want one as well!
Ta, Robyn. So glad you and Rebecca got to meet Fain. So happy for you!
Another terrific article! And I’m so glad Sean Fain got to meet you. Go, Robyn! 😊👏👏
Very demure, very mindful, very cutesy
😄

I do hope you asked him - where to find the beer -
Robyn and Shawn would be the cutest couple EVAR!!
All I can say, is that based on that picture of Robyn, it appears that she’s made a deal with the devil.
