As someone so rightly pointed out, just because these idiots are in government. there's no reason to invite them onto your show unless you are going to correct their so-called facts and evidence and mock them mercilessly.

The Bill Mumy comparison is an apt description for what is currently happening.

He was also very demonstrably lying about the historical size of the revision:

"The total for May's payroll gains was revised lower by 125,000 in Friday's report, when the third estimate for payrolls for that month was published. That figure was the largest downward reduction of payrolls gains for a second revision - outside of the pandemic era - since the estimate for March 1983 was revised down by 127,000 in the report published in June 1983."

He literally lies about everything (except for when he lets it slip that he's about to try to do a terrible thing)

What confuses me when there are books out about him that he didn't even write, and buckets of journalism about how he even lied to Fortune and Forbes (and they bought what he was selling, which is another problem altogether) is

"Why did it take 'everybody else' this long to realize it?"

All of Krasnov's lackeys say the new shit they impose will have "transparency". No reporter ever presses them on what that "transparency" will look like, how it will be achieved, etc. 😡

PAB's morning toot:

"Last weeks Job’s Report was RIGGED, just like the numbers prior to the Presidential Election were Rigged. That’s why, in both cases, there was massive, record setting revisions, in favor of the Radical Left Democrats. Those big adjustments were made to cover up, and level out, the FAKE political numbers that were CONCOCTED in order to make a great Republican Success look less stellar!!! I will pick an exceptional replacement. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAGA!"

"We can rely on 2025 facts, as opposed to 2009 bad assumptions."

Yes let's rely upon those facts, shall we? Record rainfalls producing record flooding. Record heat producing record droughts producing record fire events. Record fire events that are LITERALLY wiping entire towns and parts of major cities off the map.

And in 2009 the assumption was that these events would not be taking place for SEVERAL MORE DECADES. So no the only assumptions in 2009 that were wrong was how quickly we'd be experiencing extreme weather events.

Then you said let’s dive into the Sunday shows, and I said, nope, you watch them so I don’t have to. It’s only going to be elaborations on what you already said. We live in the worst timeline. Thank you for your service.

My sis's old farmhouse has a gravity fed water system, propane gas stove and wood heat. She is ready whenever the power goes out ... for whatever reason. Keep yourself moving on the projects. They will prove useful.

Wood stove, winters worth of wood under cover next to the house.

Plans for delivery of next winter’s wood in September.

I need to get my propane bottle filled this year. It’s not empty yet, but it would probably run out this winter if I don’t. So I will.

I have enough fuel oil to keep the boiler, running all winter, and will be getting next winters oil brought in as soon as the garage is emptied out so my friends with the tank can back their truck into my garage, and we can fill it through the slider window.

Just in case food stash ordered, should ship shortly.

A couple of months ahead in cat food and litter, will probably step that up shortly.

Started my worm colony and set up a compost bin.

Hoping to get a raspberry bed started downhill from the garden.

Tick, tick, tick.

I’m sure I’m forgetting something important.

ETA! Seeds. They’re sold to be used in the current year, but they usually go on sale towards the end of the summer, and can pretty much be counted upon to germinate in the spring. If that ends up on the wrong side of the supply chain, then all the effort of putting in a garden is for naught.

What else am I forgetting?

You know, if a president was doing a bunch of stupid shit that was fucking up the economy, that would likely create a larger-than-normal difference between the initial and revised measurements. So, if Known Fucking Idiot Kevin Hassett is concerned that this is a larger-than-historical revision, perhaps it's because his boss is fucking shit up in a larger-than-historical fashion.

But, that would require thinking, something Hassett is known to be allergic to.
