good ol' Martha couldn't be bothered to ask the followup question, "How many embryos did YOUR family destroy in their quest to have a child through IVF? you realize anyone who uses IVF will create and probably destroy one or many more embryos in their treatment." And see that ol' white haired fly attracting MF-er squirm. They all need to be asked this. cuz, according to their "faith" they are baby k#llers and should be made to admit it. In public on the airwaives. Can't have it both ways.

Allow me to sympathize, Michael.

I walked into first grade, and Sister Mary Andrew said, "What's your name?"

I said, "Dan."

She pointed at a chair and said, "Okay, Dannie, you can sit there."

Guess what I was until I started public high school in ninth grade?

"It becomes a binary choice. Either you want to continue with the economic policies that we have got today, or you move back into a position where we actually don't have the world on fire and where our economy is moving forward. […]"

Why do none of these worthless pundits ask a follow-up, such as, HOW is the world on fire? What is so bad about the economy and what do you think should be done differently? Make them defend these bullshit statements! They want us to believe that 4 years ago was all rainbows and puppies instead of the hellscape that was COVID with 14% unemployment and the many GOP fuck ups that got a million Americans killed. But no, these comments just waft on by without being challenged. If you're going to insist on having only Republicans on these shows, actually ask them a question worth asking!

FFS it is so frustrating and mind-numbing. Sorry, needed to vent.

"Ohio Republican Governor Mike DeWine has a checkered political past."

It remains pretty checkered.

Someone should just ask him straight out if any of his "children" were killed as a result of his wife's "fertility treatments" and who believes should go to prison for their murder?

And as predicted, Republicans are coming around to the "I literally cannot admit that I support Trump but it's more important that my side win than anything else"

"I'm a Republican. I certainly will do that."

Living in an ultramarine area of a blue state, I was stunned in 2004 to learn that a colleague had voted for George W. Bush. I wasn't restrained in my reaction, but when I calmed down and asked her why, she replied, as if this adequately explained everything, "Because we're Republicans."

For whom, obviously, party takes precedence over country.

"Mickey-mike" used to be a term used by electrical engineers.

Not sure how that is relevant.
