For Rump, a treaty is probably just a way to get people to stop shooting long enough for him or his cronies to steal some shit.

Well, I fail to see how letting vicious criminals get away with all their evil can bind the nation’s wounds, anyway.

I'm sure that's exactly what her opinion was when Bill Clinton was impeached.

Speaking as the missus of a fellow who has now been serving more than 20 years in the Army, from the Soldier's perspective, what Drumpfuck has done is thoroughly demoralizing. It dishonours their mission and their service.

It is psychologically devastating.

What "Cheshire cat smile" makes me think of is a joke that remains after the mind of the one who told it has decayed and faded away, courtesy John Keel's Mothman Prophecies.

Mad Dog left men to die in Afghanistan: he froze, paralyzed with fear and indecision, after US service members had been hit by friendly fire and needed to be pulled out.

Mattis delayed sending in rescue choppers, havering and wavering in case it turned out to be the wrong decision, one that might make him look bad and cost him status in the military hierarchy.

He found it easier to sacrifice the lives of fighting men, than to take a chance of harming his status in the cutthroat world of military oneupsmanship by making a difficult decision that might (as all tough decisions might) turn out to be the wrong one.

So no surprises here: he's just doing the same damn thing with the whole damn country that he did with those Green Berets.

I do think it's funny that in a party that says "we're woke" and "we're going to be transformational," they're not backing the African-American woman, they're not backing the African-American man, they're not - - they're not backing the gay man, the mayor, you know? We're going to have people who are different as our -- they could do that. Those are Democratic primary voters, and they've got the -- the three white people at the top of the polls.

You literally have two black ladies come on and do minstrel shows for your white voters. All that's missing is making them do a funny dance.

I've found she actually has fans in white finance bros who want to look like the good guys while changing exactly nothing.

Or maybe that was Williamson. Not that it matters.

if Conway is all for getting rid of corruption in washington, then she should condemn Pence and all other trump appointees who are spending tax payer money at trump's properties.

And his little dogs, too! (ALL the enablers, fellows-in-crime, political appointees, and supporters in the House and Senate.)(And not real dogs, who just want to have some of those delicious salty chips you're eating, bark at the UPS guy while wagging their tails because he's a Teamster and has dog biscuits, and then go for a walk to check their pee-mail.)
