Full disclosure, I'm from a country where guns are strictly controlled, you are NOT allowed to have one for personal protection, and pepper spray is a prohibited weapon because it "discharges a noxious liquid". But concealed carry permits still strike me as the stupidest fucking things ever. It forces cops to assume any citizen could be packing heat and that plus racism is a recipe for disaster. I feel like I'm looking at someone suffering from adult onset hoarding and struggling to understand how they ended up with a house packed with old newspapers and why they think everything's fine because they've carved tunnels in them.
She's just going to preemptively re-register for EVERY primary and general election going forward. If Kemp's office wants to be dicks about it, then we can give them extra work to do. Registering when you're already registered in the state isn't illegal.Yet.
