I'd like to see how much each of them has dumped into senate races compared to what they've each spent on their own advertising.

They need to be burying the opponents of Cory Gardner, the Turtle, Lindsey, Susan Collins, etc. in money.

If you're speaking about Bloomberg, that's just false. He ran for Mayor three times and won. He has already spent over $100 million on down ballot Congressional races just this cycle. There's no support for your comment.

The NYT also reported that Hillary Beghazied her emails with Ukrainium.

Bloomberg is all in. He's the guy the likes of Graham and McConnell should worry about. With Bloomberg in the race, Democrats have an unprecedented chance to take on the GOP at every level in the race. He'll make fine president if nominated. He'll finance the Democratic nominee if it isn't him. Bernie is NOT a Democrat.

I'm not turning away from that in favor of the hypocrisy and pseudo-socialism of Bernie Sanders and the Jacobin left. His supporters are way to the left of their candidate, who is a tax and spend moderateiberal

You think this election is a joke, do you?

No, but I don't believe in slurping on billionaire ass.

Blumberg at least has a record (not all great) to run on. We’d have an idea of what we’re getting if he wins. Bonus is he has a clue how government works.

Steyer, on the other hand, needs to just go away. He should run for the House or a state office. NOT the fucking presidency. That is NOT a job for novices.

The best thing they could both do is to put their fortunes toward supporting other candidates.

I don't like either of them because their policies don't address the wealth gap seriously. I wonder why.

Yang would be a terrible president, and the time has long since come to take the no-hopers out of the debates, but... Honestly, if we're going to have someone on the stage who has no chance of ever being president, I'd rather it be Yang than Steyer. At least Yang talked about an important issue with an unconventional solution to address it, didn't take shots at the real candidates, and never tried to buy endorsements. He was harmless, despite taking up precious time.

Steyer... Seriously, he has no chance, it's kind of offensive that he was able to buy his way onto the stage, and I get the feeling that he's going to be a huge jerk once he realizes that he's not going to be the nominee. I mean, he already stole voter data and tried to pay for endorsements; the idea of him going negative to knock out a candidate he disapproves of isn't much of a stretch.

(Mandatory "obviously I'll vote for him if he's the nominee" disclaimer attached, of course. Even if term limits are a stupid idea, which is why lobbyists keep pushing for them.)

What's put you on the stage, Tom, is money. That you don't know that is part of the problem.
