They don't know we're not stupid cuz their stupid. And the don't know stupid isn't smart,cuz their stupid and they think their smart. And just thinking about all that stupidity, running the country,makes my brain hurt and will probably make me stupid too,or at least crazy.
Yeah, I'm bipolar. I enjoyed my past manic episodes but nobody else did. That often led to a stay on the psych ward,with people whose crazy was incompatible with mine . Definitely not a good time. Thorazine sucks.
I'm sorry. I went through that with my brother. He nearly died. And I hope you have never had to go through that. You know, I have learned so much from all that, the most important lesson being not to judge.
My insurance company wanted to put me on a cheaper meds, that don't work for me . I needed 2 shrinks to write them and tell them I needed to stay on the med I was on or they would be paying for a permanent hospital stay. If I had to pay for it out of pocket it would cost me 800 dollars a month. It's hard to find the right meds .Everyone is different and there not alot of effort or research to find new drugs that are more effective and without alot of side effects. Tell your brother to hang in there . He's lucky to have you for a sister.My families been my biggest support system.

I got lucky . Got in a program with people who really cared and gave a 110 % for their clients. Haven't been in a psych ward for 20 years.
