To get buy in on this one, I think we need to redefine 1AU. Seriously, say "one astronomical unit" and the target audience will glaze over and change the subject by the time you get to "Nom:" (It would be quicker, but there is a segment of that cohort who will think we are talking about George Jetson's dog until we get to "nom" and they lose interest)
