Abortion tourism sounds super dumb but it’s just the social science & medicine term for the phenomenon of having to travel to access abortion. It’s a terrible term because it makes it sound like a fun trip ( à la The Onion’s Abortionplex) but it describes a disturbing reality that pregnant people are facing more and more as abortion becomes unavailable to them locally.

The Justice Complex houses the Lyon County jail, the Third Judicial District Court, the sheriff’s office and the Walker River Justice court. The Lyon County Commission originally planned to rename a road after Trump but dropped that idea because some residences and businesses would have had to change their address.
