Having the building host peace conferences and welcoming Trump’s enemies would be better to me than more demolition. If construction could be halted now it would make it more palatable than razing something finished. Especially poignant if it sat unfinished for a while as a monument to Trump’s always the wrong thing, then ceremonially demolish the eyesore.
