Some girl sent me a letter threatening to sue me in small claims court because she parked her car on the street in front of a house we own and our sprinklers allegedly somehow ruined her car's custom paint. She says I'm not allowed to hire a lawyer.
The issue should be with the quality of the paint on the car.
Park your car where the sprinkler water will hit it. Video the water hitting the car, note how long the water hit the car. Take pictures before and after the water. Have a couple of people with you to witness the procedure.
I did some work for a guy once and when I didn't finish the job faster than he expected he threatened to sue me for the balance of his CC loans. I quickly and politely washed my hands of that entire deal.

It all goes in the same landfill. Many (if not most) recycling contracts don't actually require the "recyclers" to recycle material. They can do so, or not, if they feel like it's worth it to them. Their contract just requires them to haul it away. Where they take it is up to them. Last I heard, prices for plastic have been too low for recycling to be cost effective.
This is one of my soapbox issues and I do the same. If the country wants us to recycle then don't make it so damn difficult. This is corporate america lying to the masses and not recycling nearly as much as they want us to believe. THEY need to fix this shit not us.
