Why would you give people who are greedier than they are smart ideas they haven't already had?
They're already arresting and indicting Black journalists and the only reason they haven't indicted six members of Congress for actually following the law is that they're substance-abuse-addled and incompetent.

Fanciful, because ICE, like other departments under this regime, is too incompetent to arrest the governors. The regime's arrogance is as bad as its incompetence.
I would hope some of our blue state governors would release statements condemning the war but they should be prepared for retaliation of some kind though likely not as extreme as in my scenario.
I'm not sure in our system of federalism whether the Supremacy Clause affords the federal government any response if a governor urges what it considers seditious defiance. There may be a precedent in the Civil War where governors could be arrested "in absentia". But the statements I hypothesized wouldn't rise to that bar.
