"...Ladapo is a nut..."

He has a rubber butt

Every time he turns around

He goes "putt putt".

My finest 4th-grade verse!

Bibi: "So you know why we're having this little meeting?"

Pedo47: "Yes."

Bibi: "Why?"

Pedo47: "Cause I didn't."

B: "Didn't what?"

P47: "Didn't do like you said."

B: "What did I say ?"

P47: "Keep bombing Iran."

B: "And?"

P47: "And kill every living thing that moves and call it "collateral, miss coordinates, system failure or

some shit. I'm sorry, I was going to, but Mikey and them yelled about the Midterms!"

B: "So now what are you gonna do now?"

P47: "Go to my room. And bomb Iran."

Oh, I think Trump has finally realized Bibi played him.

He's pissed that he got talked into a forever war, no better than Hover or Bush II. Bibi made him a loser.

fuck, that picture. I hope there were protestors. And damn if his diaper flap on his cheap suits isn't ginormous.

I'm rather surprised that vaccines haven't been held responsible for the skyrocketing number of gays. There were only 14 of the latter in the country before 1990 as we know.

Maelen Moonsinger's avatar

Wasn't it the fluoridation of water that was turning the frogs gay?

Trump to RFK, jr: Find me 11,780 cases of autism caused by vaccines. That's all I'm asking for.

Pig Bodine's avatar

Trump math will save the day. It worked for reducing Covid cases, bringing about miraculous drug cost reductions, having fewer war dead, and the number of released Epstein files.

Maybe not count unvaccinated kids in data about kids with autism because how can they have autism if they haven’t been vaccinated since the new numbers now say all the kids with autism have also been vaccinated. .

How can Fauci be responsible if it was Kung Flu?

I used to think that lead in everythin was part of the downfall of Rome. But no, it is just that people get collectively dumber the more there are, isn't it?

Pope Scipio Newburyporticus's avatar

Oh there's lots more reasons. When they started putting migrants in concentration camps is when things got really out of hand.

Goin Green's avatar

What actually happens is far worse.

We Wonkerz don't have the capacity to understand just how utterly stupid the other side really is. When you are a reasonable person, you don't have the ability to turn off the "reason" section of your brain, so everything is filtered thru it whether or not you want it to be.

goCatgo's avatar

You're right. I filter myself constantly. Like I don't even mention Hemi Cudas unless

somebody is talkin' shit about the Ram Air GOAT. Ok, I'll concede the 427 'cause of

why do these people keep insisting that science is nothing more than a case of "he said/she said"?

why, I never thought of that! I withdraw my comment.

TBH the history of “medical science” being head-up-its-own-ass wrong about neurodivergence is well documented in and of itself. Problem is, it’s the formerly sanctioned quackery from such esteemed “professionals” as Bruno Bettleheim that the MAHA morans will accept as “gold-standard science” because it confirms their priors. Bettleheim of course coined the “refrigerator mother” theory that autism was an attachment disorder whereby children didn’t develop properly because their mothers were “cold” and more focused on their careers and education than the “natural feminine instinct” of maternal nurturing. So Republicans’ answer to autism is going to be, don’t let girls and women go to work or school. The Taliban has no autism, after all!

Diane's Less Hostile Username's avatar

One of the causes of autism they are "investigating" is circumcision. These people are OBSESSED with genitals.

2Cats2Furious's avatar

I think that relates back to the Tylenol thing somehow? Like little babby boys are given Tylenol after being circumcised, and then bam! They subsequently somehow get autism.

Remember: Nothing bad can happen. Only good can happen. Or something.

Belle la Bête f/k/a Girl Guide's avatar

Er, that’s also their way of saying “the Jews did it”.

Saviour of Bread's avatar

That theory has drawbacks.

Whenever these mooks say "Gold standard of science" you know they mean "shit they pulled out of their asses." Where to begin, the "Gold standard" was a system that pegged the value of the US dollar to a set quantity of gold, say $20 an ounce in 1834. Nothing scientific about it, it was an economic choice made by the government and the standard was set arbitrarily. So "the Gold Standard" of science is equally arbitrary and based on the tender feefees of MAGA smoothbrains.

And right on time! With measles skyrocketing, and noises being made about the polio vaccine being worthless, I mean, who has polio anymore, right? We're also going to go another round at destroying Dr. Fauci, there's another "hearing" tomorrow. Fux is ginning up their idiots, and not talking about the real health care failures, by demanding he be "made an example of." For what? Mildly disagreeing with Dr. trump on how to stop the spread of a deadly, airborne virus?

Sen. Rand ["Poodlehead"] Paul, R-Ky., published a tranche of diary entries over the weekend made by Dr. Anthony Fauci during the COVID-19 pandemic. The release of the 1,141-page document came ahead of Fauci's appearance before a Senate committee on Wednesday. The entries, and Paul's commentary on them, highlight the disagreement between the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and some politicians over the origins of the coronavirus.

On Saturday afternoon, as part of this ongoing inquiry, Paul published a thread on X describing the release of a string of what he called diary entries made by Fauci from December 2019 through December 2022. Paul commented on X at the start of the posts, "What [Fauci] wrote privately and what he told the country are two different stories."

I'll never understand how it's preferable to have a child die from measles rather than risk autism. How does that make any sense??

Edith Prickly's avatar

It means that person hates their neurodivergent kid.

Belle la Bête f/k/a Girl Guide's avatar

Obviously all these diseases are a horrible way to go but there’s still a problem whereby parents rightly fear what happens to their special needs kids after they’re gone. We don’t “take care” of people in this country and at least some of them might figure that dying young from preventable contagions is preferable to them ending up in some godforsaken group home comparable to the Romanian orphanages by the time they’re 35. This perspective I can understand; as extreme and horrible and heartbreaking as it is, there are some fates worse than death, and the welfare-to-Willowbrook pipeline is one of them. The so-called ugly laws may no longer be on the books but the handicapped are still “quarantined” and segregated in other, socially-sanctioned ways.

The fate of the “higher functioning” Aspie isn’t much better; they tend to die young by their own hand because they have the painful awareness that every door will be slammed in their face and bolted shut. I’m not sure what to do about this realistically because you have an entire population that’s just going to continue being written off the minute they’re labeled.

Death from measles at seven or eight does start to look more humane than living to adulthood, only to end up in a state-funded asylum with bed sores and having a mouth but the inability to scream, or with crippling depression and a meagre welfare stipend due to a mismatch of intellectual potential and social acceptability. You have people with multiple terminal degrees living hand-to-mouth on SSI because nobody will hire them and they don’t have a “network” to “leverage.”

I remain ever hopeless because I’m in this category of unemployable burned-out gifted kids and nobody is coming to the rescue. I’ve lost count of how many times I wish that I wasn’t vaccinated, not because I believe it has anything to do with neurodivergence but because our society hates the neurodivergent and you either “learn to fit in” or drop dead.

I’m aware America’s a sick society but also that we’ve developed a “natural immunity” to doing anything about it. There’s no compassion vaccine for societal change.
