It bears repeating that SFO does not even use TSA, they use private contractors that are not affected by the shutdown--so there is ZERO reason for ICE to be there. Plus we are a sanctuary city, those cops should not have been helping ICE. This is just a way to normalize the presence of armed Gestapo in public spaces.
I find it interesting that Homan/Trump decided not to deploy any ICE agents to Dulles or any other DC-area airports. Wouldn’t want congresscritters to experience for themselves how useless this ICE deployment to airports is.
Best case scenario, the ICE agents perform zero work of value and continue to stand around with their thumbs up their asses, while TSA agents get increasingly and rightfully pissed off because they are doing all the actual work WITHOUT PAY.

Also, while I appreciate they ditched the masks (that wasn’t so hard), is it too much to ask that these ICE agents wear some kind of actual uniform like regular law enforcement/security personnel, and badges with photo identification like TSA agents? if you have to check a bag, be sure and check with your airline to see if you can check it 5 hours early so that you will have time to get through security. Many airlines have a policy forbidding checking bags more than 2-3 hours early
