Elect a 34 count felon and this is what you get. Trump deported a young girl who needs medical attention in America to LIVE. The doctors say she will only live days without her treatments that can only be obtained in America. Trump is in reality a Mass Murderer. He’s killing people around the world on a daily basis with his dismantling of USAID, 500,000+ unnecessary deaths from COVID due to his silence, even though he knew how bad it was, hoping to save his campaign and the list goes on and on. He must be removed from office asap by any means possible.
Interesting this all came up just as Mexico is also cracking down on the oil theft "cartel" which looks to involve not just organized crime here, and no doubt corrupted officials in Mexico but US officials and oil companies on your side of the border... in a big way.
Basically, PEMEX oil is being diverted to the US, mixed with WTC (West Texas Crude) and resold at a discount to US refineries. The US won't cooperate with the Mexican security and investigative people on that either, so no surprise they're keeping tight lipped about any agreements they have with other smuggling operatives... even without getting into suspicions that certain three lettered US governmental organs are colluding (and have been colluding) with various unregulated pharmaceutical importers.
I just read about an oil scheme bust recently . Oil companies, brokers, officials in the business on both sides of the border involved. Stolen oil, mislabeled shipments. Millions of dollars, more than illegal drugs and it's a "legal" import. That's the first time I heard about oil smuggling.
Uh, isn't your "golden visa" for successful entrepreneurs? A family business begun by a humble orange salesman now a multi-billion dollar sales empire sounds like just the kind of people you want to make America great again.
“New plan to save money on your drugs and pharmaceuticals folks! We’re cutting out Big Pharma who’ve been so very MEAN to us with their High Prices and instead will be negotiating HOT Deals with the Drug cartels! Very pure fentanyl and I even hear their adderral is top shelf shit which is GOOD NEWS for your FAVORITE precednent!”
I have the C-HR hybrid, from the previous model generation. It fits quite comfortably on Spanish streets. The high ground clearance (HR stands for High Rider) works well for us because we use it to get to hiking trailheads, much better than the Corolla it shares it's drive train with.
We're also averaging over 47 MPG (5.4 L / 100 KM) in a sedan that will seat 4 plus their gear comfortably. It's not a car that would appear on Top Gear but it works well for us.
I'd guesstimate the price at around $30K before tariffs.
It takes me 5 minutes to fill up my car with gas. A friend who owns a Tesla tells me it takes him between 30-45 minutes to fully charge. If you're planning a long-distance drive, that's too long, especially if you have to wait for a charging station because they're all in use.
Charging stations are just now an available in rural North Iowa, and they aren’t always conveniently located. We’re not making it there and back again without a charge.
My sister and nephew live in Puerto Vallarta. They tell me that the local cartel runs EVERYTHING. Is there a pothole in your street? The city road department won't fill it in for 5 years, so you just call a certain number and it gets repaired within 3 days. Do you have a rotten neighbor who beats his kids and plays really loud mariachi music at 3 am on work nights and whose dog barks 24 hours a day? You just call a certain number, and the neighbor is invited to move somewhere else after the dog dies. Do you need some hydrocodone for chronic back pain but you can't get it at a local pharmacy without a prescription and your doctor can't help? The cartel has their own pharmacies where you can buy whatever you want (at Black Market prices). The cartel is the unofficial local government.
Of course the real problem is that the state and local governments in Mexico are so incompetent and corrupt that nothing ever gets done without huge bribes, so the cartel takes care of it. People in Puerto Vallarta are cool with this as long as the cartel doesn't try to Shanghai their sons into working for the cartel, but that only happens to the very poor kids from destitute families, or the sons of small businessmen who won't cooperate with the cartel, so most of the middle and upper classes just ignore this fallout.
well, yeah... Jalisco (PV) is run by holdovers from the old regime, the pre-"4th Transformation" bunch. That said, it's not "cartels" so much as everybody knows a guy who likely knows a guy who knows a guy, some guy in the mix being somehow somewhat related to one or another criminal gang, aka "cartel". But "cartels" sound scarier.

I’m fucking believable…. Again
Sooooo 17 times $5 million = a cool $85 million for Trump.
Ta, Marcie. For fuck's sake, this is insane!!
Eagerly looking forward to the right wing telling us why this is a good thing.
Ovidio Guzman Lopez looks kinda normal!

So, did he get anything for this crazy deal? Also, dog's behind libelz!
He must have.
Uh, isn't your "golden visa" for successful entrepreneurs? A family business begun by a humble orange salesman now a multi-billion dollar sales empire sounds like just the kind of people you want to make America great again.
The "Good Ones" will be able to pay...
Truly this is obscene given that fentanyl is Trump's excuse for imposing tariffs on China, Canada, and Mexico.
Nobody has ever been tougher on Cartels than ME!
Well, there goes our element of surprise...

Tesla is dead and it will not get better.

Nowhere in that whole fucking article do they mention price!
Edit: And do that always have to be fucking SUVs?

Pretty. I want one.
Tesla was always going to get their lunch eaten by one of the bigger car companies.
True.
Is it? Maybe with a competent CEO they could have had something.
Their biggest asset is their charging infrastructure
Very nice, but it has a max driving range rating of only 290-miles. That's good, but not good enough for me.
This is Toyota’s first EV. They will big time once this is ready:

That is about what a gas vehicle goes without a fill up. what's wrong with stopping for a charge?

Right? Range anxiety is the biggest issue keeping people from buying BEVs but it doesn't seem to be an issue in practical terms.
Maybe charge time would hold people back but

So, America in another 100 days.
Bensonhurst Brooklyn was like that, well maybe not the hydrocodone, but the barking dog thing definitely.
Well wow.
