"Sure, MAGA. Keep telling the American people they can’t see Trump’s age-related senility racing at him like an 18-wheeler. Tell them their eyes are lying to them."

Accurate if by MAGA you mean every major media outlet that refuses to cover the obvious slide into dementia. And that is every major media outlet, not just Fox News.

"And the neurologists, they said 'Sir, we've never seen a candidate so obviously in the late early stages of dementia," and I was the best, most dementia-ridden candidate ever, and they had tears in their eyes."

There is already an Emily Dickinson poem concerning Trump. See "A narrow fellow in the grass."

His lies are so repetitive. Every man downwind of him has tears in his eyes. I think we should examine that more closely. 🙄

Mustard gas causes irritation to the eyes: tears. It's an organo-sulfate which is also what rotten egg flatulence is, and what PAB's ass emits. You definitely want to stay upwind of that toxic aerosol shit.

Thank you for figuring out the Bagram remark. I was like, they're going to put a foreign military base in Alaska? For the oil? I mean, we do that in the Gulf, for the oil, but last I checked Alaska is ours? Did he promise it to Russia so now we need a base there? (Seriously, this is where I went in my head. It kinda made me admire the reporters doing the sanewashing)

Family farms are being decimated. Consolidation in the seed and fertilizer markets has raised the costs of planting, consolidation in the grain and meat buyers has suppressed the prices of what farmers sell and growth of corporate owned farms and undercutting family farms by being to buy equipment at reduced financial costs. To solve this problem will takes generations of anti-monopoly lawsuits and restrictions of price discounting for large buyers. AS if our corporate overlords will ever let that happen.

Nah, I'm sure we can find some former Khmer Rouge consultants to show us how to nationalize all the agrabusiness conglomerates and return power to the people.

After all Comrade Kamala is all about communism, right? /s

I've been reading Dirt: The Erosion of Civilizations, about all the soil our rapacious farming practices has been destroying for literally millennia. It's a vicious cycle, because as farms "mine the dirt" (as this book puts it), it requires more and more chemical input and more and more developing of marginal land mixed in with a vicious cycle of debt and/or stupid ideological approaches to agriculture, and now with a nice little soupcon of climate disruption. It's really a fascinating book.

I remember when Trump asked the oil company execs to donate him a billion dollars and they could have whatever they want. I guess they ponied up? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/05/09/trump-oil-industry-campaign-money/

Tears in their eyes saying, Sir....

Maybe the farmers should be listening to him saying that he is going to end subsidies instead of saving the farmer. According to others who have commented and have knowledge of mass farming, that's gonna piss off a lot of farmers.

Also if you stop imports of every food we depend upon from beef and fish (shrimp from Vietnam and other far east suppliers) to avocados and grapes, you're going to have pretty bare produce sections in every single large and small groceries. Good luck with that fatman.

Apparently however, Huckabeast doesn't need food anymore since Ozempic has become a staple for her.

Trump is living proof of the principle that in politics, it almost doesn't matter what you say, as long as you say it with forceful confidence and conviction.

Well, Murc's Law says this is fine. We don't get the headline of "Mad Carnival Barker Gibbers Nonsense in Response to Simple Question." To be fair, it is fewer letters than "Voters have Concerns about Joe Biden's Age."

MAGA people will not, N. O. T., accept that Dear Leader is anything but a genius, a master businessman, negotiator, and pro-America politician. They will listen to the rambling, incoherent, "nonsensical ravings of a lunatic mind" (credit: Young Frankenstein) and think they have just heard the Sermon on the Mount, although they don't understand that, either. Sadly, these people are hopeless, and absolutely lost in the cornfield maze that has been created by MAGA. Reading the transcript above, and the transcript of his "child care" respond is tedious, difficult, and mind-numbing. Anyone who reads it will find nothing related to the question or to reality. Guess I'll have to wait for the NYT to tell me what I missed in this incredible piece of historic rhetoric.
