Right? Show us one "illegal vote" asshole. The president of the United States sent out all his best people and they couldn't find one single "illegal vote". When asked to produce evidence they couldn't.

We have a superior role under the ConstitutionSo, even if this were true (which it isn't), aren't the republicans a minority in the House? How are these people so delusional?

The Senate vote is irrelevant, if the House majority votes to ratify the EC vote and votes against any objections. House and Senate must sustain the objections in order for the EC vote to be changed or rejected. The House is not going to sustain any objection. End of story. The other thing that is likely to happen is that alternate slates of electors may materialize from some swing states. These slates will not have certification of the relevant secretary of state (as things stand now) and cannot be accepted by Congress after today. This is the final exam for the Republican Party. Assuming some Trump stooge in the Senate endorses an objection, how many will vote to sustain it? It's easy to see most of them just accept the cover of the House vote and say, "WTF, let's just humor him this last time. Besides, we'll be able to use a close vote to justify stonewalling the new administration on appointments and everything else." Or, they could say, "Enough!" and vote against the objection by a large majority. I'm picking Door No.1.

Slightly OT, but today On Point had some interesting stuff on perception of the election results. Most intriguing was that, while a big majority of Republicans believe the results are unreliable, over 80% of ALL voters believe their vote was accurately counted. So the problem is with the "others".

(From memory; I had to memorize that soliloquy in high school - haven't forgotten it....)
