The Good Ol Days... Oh, hai. Do you remember when we decided that Jim Crow was bad and black people having rights is good? Well, don’t bother asking Trump judicial pick Wendy Vitter, nominated to a lifetime appointment at the District Court for Eastern Louisiana, a damn thing about her opinion on Civil Rights legislation. She is not here to tell you what she thinks about
As a moderate conservative, I have talked about this subject occasionally with friends, many of whom go further right than I do. It's my observation that it's gotten hard to think about segregation in any real context. The most visible aspects and effects of these policies, in schools and other public facilities, were in hindsight simply state-mandated waste. It would seem "obvious" that private businesses to left to their own devices would have quickly abandoned such practices simply as a matter of efficiency, and that it was therefore an unnecessary overreach to pass laws requiring desegregation. But this is all retrospective judgment by people who never had to live in a setting where such practices could seem acceptable.
Hey, come to WV! No one here even pretends that bigotry - & not just against blacks; you have your gays, you have your white-ish people with foreign last names, check out mine! - is anything but bigotry. In WV, my (2nd! I have perspective!) adopted state, "mandated waste" is just about everyone. DON BLANKENSHIP is running for U.S. senator, & polling well! If you don't look at him & see dead people, then your theory of mandated waste means nothing.

LARPing the Founders. My new favorite hobby!
it's not supposed to make sense, just sound scary
How about "equitable judges"?How about "fair and impartial judges"?That oughtta burn some right wing toast.
Secret Squirrel libelz!
Jesus loves the little children... as long as they know their place.
2nd question: are you white AF?
So basically throwing MT, ID, and AZ in usefully dilutes CA, WA, OR, amirite?
Family Values, yo.
It's racist turtles all the way down.
Um... this is David Vitter's wife.
