Thank you. That’s the argument against “everything is fine, Garland is not a huge problem“. It’s not really about Garland it’s about what’s going to happen. Garland/the DOJ are important in as far as what effect they have on what is going to happen. *I* think Garland is deliberately refusing to investigate Trump for his many non 1/6 crimes because ‘you just don’t do that to an ex-president‘. I could be wrong. But what’s important isn’t whether Garland is as awful as I think or just following unbelievably slow DOJ procedure, at a certain point it will be too late. Didn’t the statute of limitations on the crime by Trump that Michael Cohen went to jail for run out a couple weeks ago?

Yeah, if there's one thing the past few years have taught us, it's that you don't have to be Alfred Einstein to; be a lawyer, a judge, an attorney general, a supreme court justice or president of the United States of America.

Nonsense. They wrote the first documents asserting he government is responsible to people, not kings or God.They did assume that future politicians would be as well-read as they were.

Garland is trying to sort out a vast right-wing conspiracy that goes back to Nixon. Then he has to write an indictment the ijit gallery can understand, but not pick apart. That takes time. In the mean time, I suggest running for school board or county clerk, demanding answers from your state legislators and standing up to bullies.

Isn't that the basis of "Not guilty due to insanity"? If someone is acting on psychotic delusions and genuinely BELIEVE they were strangling the Devil, they aren't guilty of a crime even though they were ACTUALLY strangling the head of the Blind Orphans Orphanage.

If Trump genuinely believes his own bullshit because he's suffering a condition that causes him to lose touch with reality, he can't be held criminally liable for the harm caused. Not that he'd get off scott free - he'd probably be committed to a suitable medical facility until he's rational again.

Well I can't wait. I've been waiting too long and now my hair is gray. No, white. I've been waiting since Trump announced he was going to keep on doing his tv show during his presidency. And since he hired Jeff Sessions and that marauder for Dept of Interior, and that old man for the Treasury, once I read about him. As everybody here did so I'll shut up.
