Son, the "Left" consists of Christians, too. Some of whom take Jesus's instructions about loving your neighbour as yourself very seriously indeed.

Son, most immigrants are in the country legally. "Most of the foreign-born peopleliving in the United States have followed the rules and have permission to behere. Of the more than 41 million foreign-born people living in the UnitedStates in 2013, about 30 million were naturalized citizens, permanent residentsand legal residents. Eleven million were unauthorized immigrants. Of those whodid not have authorization to be here, about 40 percent entered the countrylegally and then let their visas expire."http://www.tolerance.org/im...

Son, just being in the country with an expired visa doesn't make a person a criminal. Being tried in a civil or criminal court and receiving a conviction earns the sobriquet 'criminal' appended to him/herself.

Undocumented Immigrants do the jobs native-born Americans won't.

"In the United States, two trends—better education and an aging population—have resulted in a decrease in the number of Americans willing or available to take low-paying jobs. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, close to 26 million foreign-born people, or 17 percent of the country’s labor force, worked in the United States in 2014. These workers are more likely to be employed by the service industry, while native-born workers are more likely to hold jobs in management, professional, sales and office occupations.

To fill the void of low-skilled American workers, employersoften hire immigrant workers. One of the consequences, unfortunately, is that it is easier for unscrupulous employers to exploit this labor source and pay immigrants less, not provide benefits and ignore worker-safety laws. On an economic level, Americans benefit from relatively low prices on food and othergoods produced by undocumented immigrant labor." http://www.tolerance.org/im...

You have already acknowledged that you are not a Christian, so I will condense Jesus' teachings for you:

Mark 12:28, 30-31

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

Uh huh. Now I'm not a Christian, and while I could probably quote this, that and the other passage from the New Testament to support just about any point of view I wanted to promote, which wouldn't prove much, I know which of the passages cited above I prefer. It's pretty much accepted by Christians that the teachings and example of Jesus are the basis for their faith, above and beyond any others. Taking the view (far from certain) that he really did say and do the things ascribed to him in the Gospels, we're left with the fact that by the time the Gospels were written, the early Church had to face the fact that it wasn't going to make much headway among the Jews, and must either go to the pagan Greco-Roman world -- the Empire -- for its converts, or see its new religion die on the vine. Paul of Tarsus had most to do with that policy, and he was the perfect man to make the new faith acceptable to the Roman authorities. He was Jewish by descent, but both his parents and he were Roman citizens, Paul at any rate by birth. Paul did more to create what we call Christianity than Jesus of Nazareth ever did. Hence his exhortation to recognize the authorities, as "the powers that be are ordained of God." He also recommended that anyone who was converted as a slave should not be set free on that account; how could he, when slavery was one of the Empire's biggest institutions? Spartacus? The hell with him. As for "the powers that be" having their authority from God ... would that apply to Nero, Caligula and Tiberius? Paul carefully doesn't mention their records. He was a truckling pragmatist in my book.

Oh, cripes. What seems very much relevant to the above news, Evan ... is something I saw just a few minutes ago. WASHINGTON TIMES has done a story headlined "Nearly Two Million Non-Citizen Hispanics Illegally Registered to Vote". Breaking Christian News has picked it up, Stephen Miller seems to be loving it, and Donald Trump supporters are having orgasms over it. Jones and Trump will probably have their say about it soon, if they haven't already.

The law does not permit POTUS to receive/accept any compensation from foreign govts while in office, so what say we remove the Secret Service detail from Uday and Qusay while they're doing the family 'bidness' in Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Dubai, etc. particularly since TrumpCo is now theirs alone ('scuse me...had to gag) and not the responsibility of the US taxpayer, amirite? Oh, and while Donald's busy rolling back all regulations, it's WAY past time he brought all those TRUMP MERCHANDISE jobs back to the homeland before chanting USA. BTW, it's 'replies'...
