After sending a letter telling Mr. Ahern he shouldn't be having the rally, the City of Henderson fined the building owner $3,000 for holding the rally. Yeah, that will teach him... Meanwhile, our covid cases are going to surge again so a bunch of idiots can pretend they value freedom while actually simply stroking a demented asshole's ego.
If you look at what happened in the Dakotas after Donald's Fourth of July event at Mt. Rushmore, and then the bastards who did the Sturgis thing, you know what's coming in Nevada and elsewhere.
This malicious cluelessness is baked into the American cake, of course, going back to colonial times. From Salem Village to The Villages, this is one crazy fruitcake of a country, and always has been. These lethally stupid outbursts happen every generation or so. They feel more intense now because of the zuckerberging, and the guns.
Even with a safe vaccination available, they will refuse to get it.

And to make matters worse, Big Daddy Donors aren't too keen to step out of the shadows and cry fowl, natch. They saw what happened to that bean man.
