Oh, so he'll just go back to being "uniquely unqualified" and "completely unfit for office" on Day 2? During his initial term, scarcely a day went by that he Trump didn't disgrace himself, the high office he held, and the United States generally. Even at his "best," Trump is an utter disaster for the country and the planet. His "best" is everybody else's worst multiplied by 100.

Well, the CIA is a good choice if you're thinking you're gonna turn it into your new national secret police. I mean, they already have a rep for being able to snatch people up and disappear them to black sites.

Not. Gonna. Happen. These dickcheeses aren’t going to get their fever dream of abusing every government office to punish people for hurting their feelings. Americans are talking about Trump as a dictator and it’s about time. We’ve been waiting for the media and talking heads and politicians to sound an alarm AT LEAST as loud as Liz freaking Cheney has been. Trump should be facing 2 or 3 criminal convictions by then. The states have bolstered their election security because dipshit Republicans lied about how vulnerable they were. So now it’s even harder for them to cheat. If voters come out in November like democracy depends on it, we will be fine.

It's one of these situations where you go "Ok, the CIA's whole thing is foreign intelligence gathering..." and you laugh about these rumpled bunions making angry noises but then you also have to think that Trump won in 2016 because everyone thought "nawwwww" (plus some help and interference domestically and abroad to tip the scales).

By Crom's dark mountain home, the projection! The projection!

Among other things, " ... we have a man who can't put two sentences together." Says the joker whose speeches to his zombie followers consist of broken fragments of sentences repeated over and over.

I’m not a genius with a very good brain, but wouldn’t closing the border to our biggest trading partner in the planet fuck up our economy?

Like any normal person, I worry about what a second Trump administration would do to the country and the world. But right now I'm asking, Why is this man walking around free? He's been accused of trying to overturn an election and stealing classified material. He should be in jail pending trial, which should take place no later than January, and after he's convicted, he should go to prison. In the meantime, he should be under a gag order not to talk about his cases, judges, prosecutors, or witnesses. The calls to wake up to the reality of a Trump future aren't including the dangers of the Trump present.

Wouldn't it be really cool if Trump started encouraging his followers to wear Nike shoes with the swoosh and to join him for a meet up in Rancho Santa Fe where they all would observe the second coming of the Hale-Bopp comet to achieve a little Heaven's Gate closure?

Biden can't put two sentences together. Trump, meanwhile, nails "the biggest problem we have" as nuclear weapons; four sentences later "the biggest problem we have" is the media.

What are we supposed to fear? A nuclear-armed Jake Tapper? A missile silo with a podcast?

This is a brain that churns rather than thinking.
