Trump wins "thanks to help from his friends Vladimir Putin and James Comey" (second paragraph) SHOULD read: "thanks to help from his friends Vladimir Putin, James Comey, AND JILL STEIN".
In several key - and closely contested - states, votes cast for Stein were higher than Trump's narrow margin of victory over Clinton. It has been argued that many Stein voters would have gone with Clinton had Stein not been running, thus tipping the race to Clinton, not Trump.
And then, of course, there's this interesting tid-bit of news about Vladimir Putin, Michael Flynn, and Jill Stein: https://www.nbcnews.com/new...
I think you're right about the "best drag queen name" and I hadn't thought about it before, and technically, Людмила - a common Russian name that is usually transliterated as "Lyudmila", would definitely sound phonetically like "Lewdmila."
A fun detail about Putin I learned from her book (and the only fun detail): His wife has the best drag queen name possible, which here I am almost certainly incorrectly spelling:
I am just reading Isikoff and Corn's book Russian Roulette. Not a lot of new revelations in there for me but a lot of useful background. Including in particular: just how unhappy Sec. of State Clinton was with Obama's "reset" with Russia and just how suspicious she was of Putin even back then. She also pushed for policy actions the Russians didn't like. So to argue that they wanted her elected, in place of the fawning stooge they now have, and she took their help .. I can't even. But of course Trump always, reflexively, accuses others of what he himself has done.
In another time, Eliot Cohen and I would be on opposite sides. But now:
My Senegalese-born Lyft driver. "Sir, I have just become an American citizen. What advice do you have for me?""Remember that you are every bit as much a citizen as much as I am, or the descendant of someone who came over on the Mayflower. And vote.""I love this country."

Hopefully, many of the Stable Geniuses in the House will be back in the stable after November. But we'll have to make it happen.
Thanks, Evan.
"Trump, likewise, will continue punching the intel community in the dick."
Probably not his smartest move ever...
I use an herbal sleeping aid. One to three puffs before bedtime and I'm asleep before I know it.
Oh hai neighbor - probably literally, if you're 3 miles from downtown!

I live in Cleveland. I saw it coming from 3 miles away (from the Republican convention)
Did Sam Bee just make a dick joke? On Twitter?
Almost. I live in Tokyo, so I literally saw it coming from 10000 km away.
