Yup. I'd also very much like to know a little more about reports that classified info on China and Iran was among the items found. Apparently WaPo broke the news & NBC passed the word, but I'm seeing precious little online about it.https://www.nbcnews.com/pol...

And not pulling a Mueller: gosh, it sure looks bad. Hope somebody else does something about that.

The problem is, the rank and file believe there absolutely has been a ton of evidence produced. *Dems* think all their evidence has been debunked, but they don't. They've either not heard it, or treat the debunking the way we look at reports from the Daily Caller (trash). We really do live in entirely separate realities - unfortunately, they're both occupying the same physical dimension.

"That's just not how any of this shit works."

I love it when a lawyer talks like that.

In the American legal system, most often the mills never get around to grinding at all.

Anarchist libel. They're believers in 'Chrysocracy', the rule by and for the rich and powerful. That's why they want to keep the military, for their own protection.

I hope this is true. I have serious doubts.

The mills of the gods grind slowly, yet they grind exceeding fine. When the Smith Act victims of 1950 appealed, they won but it took till the late '50s for that to be consummated.

"...ask Donald Trump and his team of sparklemagic lawyers, who are getting mighty freakin' creative..."

OK Ms. $5Feminist. Normally you cannot write anything that I do not applaud and commit to memory for future reference. [That memory silo in my mental library is generally labelled "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and subdivided into the category of 'RWNJ Repellents' ;>))))]

But this use of the metonymical substitution "freakin'" for the vulgarity "fucking" will not do! Please refrain from this unnecessary practice in future posts.

Still that strikes me as a minor quibble when I see how you have redefined the word 'creative' when speaking of TFG lawyer work product! By definition the word 'creative' relates to or involves the imagination of original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work. This word can never be used in any sentence where the subject is ANYTHING TFG adjacent!

This bit of quibbling on my part is conditional on the settlement of a certain dispute within the art world; a tiny minority of art critics have introduced a new category of performance art which they have labelled 'Desperation Performance Art'. The mainstream art critic establishment rejects this as hair splitting with no redeeming aesthetic value.

BTW- EVERYTHING else in this post is weapons grade radioactive AWESOME

If I had access to a bunch of classified documents and took them home with me and refused to return them after being notified more than a year ago, my trial would’ve already concluded, and I’d already be in federal prison.

The DOJ is bending over backwards for TFG, and ultimately it doesn’t have unlimited time.

If Republicans win this fall, they’ll link defunding the DOJ as a condition to raise the debt ceiling or fund Ukraine, etc.

If Republicans win the White House in 2024, the new Republican AG will start an investigation into anyone involved in investigating Trump. Barr already did this with the 2016 Russia election interference investigation with Durham’s appointment.

Very little of what Republicans claim to be big problems that need to be solved RIGHT NOW are actually problems at all, but it never stops them from legislating solutions for non-existent problems.

Too many people happily go along with it for them to care about reality.

I actulluy don't think that the DOJ bending over backwards for TFG.Time works both ways - I think they are taking more time because they want aal the i's dooted and all the t's crossed, and all the Q's that are linked to TFG indentified.

That it took this long is mainly cause TFG has been able to stall so long, one of the few things he is actually an expert at.

NOT true. There are already so many more gerrymandered (by Republicans) districts these days that they CAN win where they have maximised the number of Republicans over Democrats.

They have even screwed things up (due to ONE corrupt Republican judge) in NY state where I live. They gerrymandered Jerry Nadler and Carolyn Maloney - both powerful Dems into ONE district, so that one would be gone. Nadler won, but now Maloney will not be in congress. And, again, this is in NEW YORK, a bllue state, so you know it is much worse in red and purple states,
