Meanwhile, Biden is now a genocide denier. https://youtu.be/vZWPjNGNA54?si=eR17K1FDU6c3IrEF&t=100

What does it say about a country that the genocide-denier is the best option for the leader?

Throwing the "random staffer" under the bus is just about boilerplate Republican answer to something as throwing their wives under the bus.

The wheels on the bus go round and round.

still don't get why conservatives want to pay $17 per avocado and $43 for strawberries? is their racism really THAT important to them?

Yes. And those prices will be a sign of The Greatest Economy Ever In The Entire History Of The World as long as a Republican is in office. For a Democrat, of course, it's a sign of the Apocalypse, and not in a good, Raptury way.

One hopes that "random staffer" that reposted that bit under PAB's "imprimatur" gets named and fired - but this is a MAGA campaign organization, so no

it'd be great to get some followup on who got fired today or tomorrow? surely there would be some record of it. vs. taking their word (hahahahahahahahahhahaha) for it.

(Edit) Actual German American take, this actually is taking things out of context from both ends. The "unified Reich" was what was created when Germany became one country. The only contribution of the Nazis was getting it split up again. Actual lesson, being divided into mutually hostile fiefdoms played against each other by internal and external influences is BAD, actually.

So what would the analogy be to the US? That we somehow need to be "unified" into a non-federalist system?

Your cavil seems akin to those who want to rehabilitate the swastika. "It's a Hindu sun sign!"

Sure it is. But it does not mean that anymore, and suspecting MAGA of any historical awareness such as you suggest seems ludicrous.

All of that may be true, but also too if you put the word "Reich" in an American political ad, you need to expect to be compared to Hitler.

Another good rule of thumb, if your audience will not understand a term, don't use it.

DEMS OF AMERICA:

JUMP ON THIS

POUND IT INTO THE FUCKING GROUND IN EVERY FUCKING RACE

"REPUBLICANS WANT A REICH! A REICH!!!!!"

Yeah, fine, whatever, the video wasn't produced by the campaign. MAKE THEM EXPLAIN THAT.

MAKE THEM EXPLAIN THAT.

MAKE THEM EXPLAIN THAT.

STOP CLUTCHING YOUR FUCKING PEARLS "Oh, heavens to Betsy, but that would be a LIE! We could NEVER do that!"

STOP BEING FUCKING ABOVE PLAYING DIRTY

Or you will end up contemplating your own precious high-road virtue with a fucking BAYONET IN YOUR BACK

Because I'm sure your nobly pure and flawlessly ethical campaign tactics will be a fucking comfort AS THEY KILL YOU

I notice that it appears in the video in all-caps. So the video-maker didn't just randomly paste in shit from Wikipedia about Germany (or about WW1), they worked to get that quote to fit the zeitgeist they were looking for. And today I found out that Leni Reifenstahl didn't die until 2003.

Just curious.

Made even worse by COVID, another Trump "triumph." Trump took the Obama* pandemic response playbook and the people responsible for its implementation and threw it all out, lock, stock, and barrel.

*Started by Dubya, updated and expanded by Obama. Its creation was one of the few bright points of Georgie's administration.

I gotta say, I totally believe that the campaign did not want the word "reich" to appear in the video. Some rebellious staffer at some video company hired to make the thing is no doubt responsible. And maybe even, yeah, maybe the whole thing was created just to sneak that in. And I'm FINE with that, and I will whole-heartedly applaud the perpetrator with a standing ovation.

He won't be able to deport all 15 million "illegal immigrants" at once. He'll need to sort of concentrate them into camps. He may not be able to deport them directly, and may have to move more quickly to a more final solution. I wonder if he'll stop with illegal brown people? Maybe he'll make immigrants wear a badge of some kind, maybe a star to signify that they are illegal and can be treated without regard for any rights?

He and his supporters sound especially ridiculous making all these claims because the idiot was president for four years. He accomplished nothing much in those four years, and in fact did a lot of harm. Biden's campaign needs to keep hammering away at that message. And his claim to be singlehandedly the doom of Roe v. Wade. That clip should be played a million times by November. It could cost him MILLIONS of votes.
