Catchy, huh? The White House has fired a couple of aides for disloyalty because they said bad things about the thin-skinned yam-creature in the Oval Office. First to go was Shermichael Singleton, a top aide to Ben Carson, Trump's nominee for Housing and Urban Development, in a move that's notable largely because the poor guy was fired before his boss has even been confirmed by the Senate. Singleton got the boot because it was discovered that he had criticized Trump during the campaign. Then on Friday the
Day One. A tremendous Day. Tremendous. The greatest Day in the history of America. I have a great, personal relationship with Day One. Well, since Day One. The Fake News Media just doesn't want to admit it, but my Day One is biggest than any other Day One by another other President. Trust me on that!
how is he not walking into the same sort of mess he describes in his book? Does he think it will be easier to get Twittler to listen to real intelligence than it was Johnson? Johnson was a prick but the problem wasn't that he couldn't understand real intellegence advisors; it's that they decided to treat him like a rube because JFK's and RFK's people thought he was a rube and sugercoated everything they told him.
Twittler is a barely functional moron. He's paranoid and narcissistic. McMaster may have some experience dealing with cray-cray, but he's used to commanding the room when he speaks. What's gonna happen the first time #PresidentBannon decides that he's in danger of loosing the SockPuppet's attention? He'll start Wormtongueing (ugh) the demented ShitGibbon and McMasters will have to decide to whether he's going to play along to get along or walk. Why would he believe there would be any other path forward?
I really don't know. But he literally wrote the book—it's required reading for marine officers—so he's got as good a chance as anyone. I can't imagine he wants it, but I have to think he feels an obligation to take it.
Wonkette is not your personal erotica site. Well, I guess it COULD be, depending on what makes you hot. Watching the beginning of the end of the GOP for a couple of decades at a minimum is pretty doggone hot. I am looking forward to President Warren and VP Sanders appearing with the Democratic heads of both houses of Congress sometime in 2021, as she signs the "universal healthcare coverage act", which will be nicknamed the "Hillary Healthcare Act of 1994, just 27 years behind when it should have been". The acronym will be hell, but just watching every health insurance company C-suite occupant attempt seppuku (and be given rapid, no-out-of-pocket cost trauma care) will be quite...stimulating. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
"The Price is Wrong" (for real people) seems a better description of the games Trump plays.
Chacon a son gout.
Ipswich is nowhere near Bolton!
(sorry, just felt the need to say summat, pay it no heed...)

I think there's a subtle difference between a fugue state and baffled. I think they measure it in microns or something.
Did Mozart write a fugue? Or was that Hatfield v. McCoy?
One or t'other.
What an honor to be fired by the Orange Overlord. They would have to carry me out.
